Il Friuli Venezia Giulia si aggiudica il Green Road Award 2024 con la Ciclovia Pedemontana, premio che celebra le ciclovie verdi italiane. La Calabria e Trento completano il podio con le loro splendide piste ciclabili. La cerimonia si è svolta a Lucca, città protagonista insieme a Viareggio dell'evento di premiazione. La Toscana, vincitrice dell'anno precedente, ha visto riconosciuto il suo impegno con la Ciclopedonale Puccini. Il cicloturismo diventa sempre più importante per valorizzare i territori e promuovere investimenti sostenibili. Le green road offrono la possibilità di esplorare le regioni contribuendo alla salvaguardia del patrimonio locale. La giuria ha selezionato i vincitori tra 25 proposte, premiando le ciclovie che rispettano criteri di eccellenza e sostenibilità.
