Una tragedia ha colpito il cielo del Friuli Venezia Giulia, con la morte di una ragazza di 15 anni e del suo istruttore di volo, un giovane di 31 anni. L'incidente è avvenuto durante un volo di ambientamento nei pressi dell'aviosuperficie di Premariacco (Udine), con l'ultraleggero che è precipitato e ha preso fuoco, causando gravi ustioni alle vittime. Le loro condizioni si sono aggravate rapidamente, portandole alla morte durante la notte. Le autorità hanno aperto un'inchiesta per accertare le cause dello schianto e i resti sono stati posti sotto sequestro. La ragazza, studentessa di Roveredo in Piano (Pordenone), frequentava l'istituto Volta a Udine e si trovava in visita alla scuola di volo di Premariacco insieme ad altri studenti. Ognuno di loro avrebbe dovuto effettuare un breve sorvolo della zona, ma invece hanno assistito impotenti alla tragedia.
