Bankitalia: avanzo bilancia pagamenti turistici a 2,8 mld €

A maggio, la spesa dei turisti stranieri in Italia è cresciuta del 17%, raggiungendo i 5,2 miliardi di euro. Questo ha contribuito a un avanzo di 2,8 miliardi di euro nella bilancia dei pagamenti legati al turismo, in aumento rispetto ai 2,2 miliardi di maggio 2023. La Banca d'Italia ha rilevato questi dati nella sua indagine periodica sul turismo internazionale. Le entrate turistiche complessive nei tre mesi fino a maggio 2024 sono aumentate del 12% rispetto allo stesso periodo nel 2023, grazie anche alla crescita della spesa pro-capite. Al contrario, l'incremento delle uscite, pari al 9%, è stato trainato principalmente dal maggior numero di viaggiatori italiani all'estero. Un segnale positivo per il settore turistico italiano.
